Pan's Labyrinth

been wanting to see this movie for awhile now...got a lot of critical and fan praise

enjoyable movie...adult fairly tale about a little girl escaping the realities of the real world by creating a fantasy world in her mind...takes place in 1944 Spain after the Spanish Civil War where pockets of resistance fighters are still battling the country's fascist regime...metaphor for war through the eyes of a child, who are innocent and create fantasies to take them away from the evil occurring around them

Final Grade= B

**movie is in Spanish with English subtitles

The Invasion. It started out OK. Was too short and shallow. The theater was too loud. Pretty much a sucky experience.

Hot Fuzz. I still don't know what to think. Seems to be a mix between Lock Stock and Army of Darkness...

Thumbs up Death Sentence & Halloween

Kevin Bacon is superb, and Rob Zombie did the best Halloween since the '78 original !!

Fastfood nation. A great movie to see. Not as melodramatic as supersize me. More like "thank you for smoking" was.
