Re: What movie did you just see?

Little Miss Sunshine.

About a very interesting, quirky family to say the least. I enjoyed it, though its certainly not for everyone.

Re: What movie did you just see?

The last movie I watched was The Love Guru. I have to say, I was not impressed at all. What did anyone else think?

Re: What movie did you just see?

GRAN TORINO, a limited release before 2009 opening.. definitely a mesmerizing directing and a lead performance !

Looks like it might be the first acting Oscar for Clint Eastwood

Re: What movie did you just see?

Last movie I watched was at home: Lord of War.

I watched it at the cinema when it came out but had to again cos I got hold of a 1080 version.

Good movie. Sad but an eye-opener.

Day The Earth Stood Still 2008

I never saw the original 1950's version. I'd like to see that one.

Trav -- You'll want to read this excellent opinion column comparing the original and the new versions. I haven't seen the new one yet, but I've seen the original several times, including this year. Everything he says about it (the original) rings true.

In Bruges

Just watched this today, normally don't care much for Colin Farrell, but this was a very good movie. Worth watching.
