Sounds like Return of the King is going to be better than the first two.....if that's possible.

Need to see Pirates again. It's on DVD December 2nd.

Interesting characters, good character development, good acting. The plot was nothing new and exciting, but it was a nice background for that kind of a plot..making it fun to watch. It was not super-realistic, but it wasn't meant to be either, so don't take points off for that.

I've heard that too, and I'm thinking its quite possible. A lot of "main events" haven't happened yet, so its bound to be a very action packed climax. In the books there was a HUGE cliff hanger event at the end of Two Towers that they didn't put in the movie, but by the previews...its probably going to "start off" the ROTK.

THE INVINCIBLE by Werner Herzog who used to make good (different) movies. This one is about Hanussen, the famous "magician" durin the 3rd Reich. There was already a German movie about him with Klaus-Maria Brandauer (exellent actor). That one was a very good movie, this one was EXTREME BORING! Not worth watching IMHO. Not even good acting like the Brandauer one.

I loved that movie. I love movies that actually meet you expectations. The only thing I didn't like was the green guy could have been more "enhanced" if you know what I mean. ;-)

Matchstick Men, was very good and not at all what I expected. For a change I didn't see the ending coming, great twist and the only one. I kinda get bored when theres once twist after another. This movie had one big twist which was very well thought out. Also, very well directed.
