Yeah, that Yoda duel was cheesy. I sure hope that Lucas gets his act together for ep 3.

as far as latest theatre release goes, i just saw two towers. this trilogy is shaping up to be the best ever, these two movies have been perfect examples of how special effects does not have to get in the way of the story telling. i hope peter jackson continues this kind of quality in the next installment.

on the dvd side of things, i just purchased the back to the future trilogy on dvd. i still love those movies and never get tired of watching them.

Ahhh - but the YODA duel was cheesy - just another bad part of a bad film - Yoda is the Master of ALL Jedi, so his confrontation with Dooku should have had him overpower Dooku who then, thru a lucky break, escapes to fight another day, not come across as it did - Tattoo from 'Fantasy Island' dressed in green crying out "Boss! D' Force, D'Force!!" whilst trying to bite Dooku's kneecaps off!

Re another topic - I've now heard several people say the 'Back To The Future' music plays during the shield-slide - I'll have to check it out! Paying homage is good tho!

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.
