Watched two movies yesterday---Spawn, which, if you're aren't into the comic book (or even if you are...) isn't the greatest movie in the world...and Speed, which is one of the greatest sleeper movies ever....

The latest reasonably new movie I saw was Die Another Day this wednesday. It sucked. I think I could count about 572 sex-related one-liners.

It was nicely shot, with good locations and that but the acting stunk for the most part. But that Halle Berry sure is one beautiful woman.

Oh, and the look-at-me-I'm-surfing-on-a-huge-wave scene was so poorly animated the director should be ashamed of himself. I mean, if you've got $100M to plonk down on a movie, at least get all the special FX right...

The only scene that didn't make me want to vomit was the one in the abandoned subway station with John Cleese. He alone brings this movie up from the suck grade to a measley bleh.

Grade: :o

Luckily I didn't pay money to see it. A buddy had it on his...ehrm...computer. *cough*

Will the MPAA hunt me down and make me kiss their feet now?

I rented Shakespere in love last night. It had more quality than its chick flick appeal. It was actually a very clever written story I thought. I really like Joseph Fiennes...he's a good actor.

One of my favorites, if not my favorite romance. I'm slightly biased tho cause I'd do anything to run away with Gweneth Paltrow....

Who wouldn't?

Ok, the other movie I rented, I just finished watching.

Boys don't cry.

Alright...this has got to be one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen.
