couple ?'s for ME

Is it possible to "image" or "backup" the HD to CD? I am also wondering if there is an update package for ME like there is for XP.

Edit: The backup I would like to make needs to be able to install to a freshly formatted HD. For example I put the windows startup disc into the floppy drive and format the HD. I would then need to run some type of setup from the CD(s).

M$ autoupdate works fine

No problem updating WinME

After a fresh install, use the M$ autoupdate feature. It'll take a while, and a couple reboots. The resulting system is much more robust than the OEM version. Take all_kinds of HW/SW and it's still a slick, quick OS.

Oh yeah, **REM** to disable/not_enable OUTLOOK. Also, NEVER use IE when another option will substitute. I use either NS_7.1 or O_W. Both are perfectly functional. Your system will thank you and you ... will sleep peacefully.

It isn't updating for some reason. And the person that owns the system is on dial-up. I was going to update it using my cable connection but it isn't working. That is why I am looking for an update package.
