| couple ?'s for ME Is it possible to "image" or "backup" the HD to CD? I am also wondering if there is an update package for ME like there is for XP. Edit: The backup I would like to make needs to be able to install to a freshly formatted HD. For example I put the windows startup disc into the floppy drive and format the HD. I would then need to run some type of setup from the CD(s).

| M$ autoupdate works fine No problem updating WinME After a fresh install, use the M$ autoupdate feature. It'll take a while, and a couple reboots. The resulting system is much more robust than the OEM version. Take all_kinds of HW/SW and it's still a slick, quick OS. Oh yeah, **REM** to disable/not_enable OUTLOOK. Also, NEVER use IE when another option will substitute. I use either NS_7.1 or O_W. Both are perfectly functional. Your system will thank you and you ... will sleep peacefully. |

| It isn't updating for some reason. And the person that owns the system is on dial-up. I was going to update it using my cable connection but it isn't working. That is why I am looking for an update package. |
