Wink dual boot

Here is a copy of my boot.ini file that I use to dual boot Windows ME and W2K, this file goes into the root directory of your boot drive. Although I have both operating systems on one drive you may be able to make this work on two drives. I forgot to mention that in the email I sent you:

[Boot Loader]
timeout=30
Default=C:\

[Operating Systems]
C:\="Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition"
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect

1. Download a Boot Loader like XSOL (www.xosl.org) and copy it to a diskette.
2. Format the two hard drives.
3. Unplugged the second hard drive.
3. Install the Win98 on the only hard drive that is connected. (hhd 1)
4. After the installation is finished, restart on MS-DOS mode and install XOSL
5. Unplugged the hard drive and connect the second hard drive.
6. Install the Win98 on the second hard drive (hhd 2)
7. After you install Win98 you must connect the two hard drives and restart the computer.
8. Now you must configure the XOSL. And it's easy. The idea is... to hide the second hard drive when you want to run the Win98 of the first hard drive, and to hide the first hard drive when you want to the Win98 of the second hard drive.
