desktop shadows

This is my computer at work I would like to get rid of these shadows.

It looks like the screen isn't set to maximum color quality, and that may be why you are seeing those blocks. Take a look at your Screen/Properties/Color Quailty setting.

if winxp, you can enable drop shadows.

I have the same problem on my computer at work (Win2K). I remember a thread here before where someone had the same problem but I can't find it . My color quality settings are on high. It's something else but I can't remember what.

fischyfinger, good link, but perhaps I am mistaken in this, I thought that flex was referring to the gray blotchy patches in the background image. Take another look at the screen shot and you will see what I mean.

I figured that was part of the art or something. Well, now he can get rid of the boxes around the words if he wants...lol

You can change the text color to whatever you want. Just run the program and you can change it there.
