Question IE 6 SSL problems

On my dads PC he cannot access any web site with SSL. I have had him disable his Norton Personal Firewall to see if that was causing his problem. This did not change the situation. I have had him check the security setting in IE. Some how SSL in IE seems to have been trashed. They all appear correct. Does any know how to force a reinstall of IE 6 under Windows 98 SE? I know it can be done in XP, how about 98SE?

Thanks

Try this link - you can download IE6 and try a manual install from here:

You can repair IE from Start - Accessories - Sytem Tools - System Information, then Tools - Repair IE.

I'm doing this from memory, so if I'm slightly off then this should give you the gist of it!
