| Here are my recent experiences with the Windows ME shutdown issue: Upgraded from Win98SE to Win ME - ME would not shutdown or reboot. Removed AHA2940UW SCSI card and ME shutdown / Rebooted no prob. Updated Adaptec driver, disabled SCSI bios, flashed SCSI bios to new version: Everything works again, no problem. Of course I couldn't leave well enough alone & started fooling with settings. Got to where it would shutdown OK but would hang on reboot(!?). Finally realized it was the CUSL2-C Bios setting for PNP OS - Set to Yes: hang on reboot, Set to No: evrything works. Hope this helps someone.
