| Win 95/98 Security A quicj question for anyone who can answer it. It's been quite some time since I actually worked with either 95 or 98 and someone asked me the other day if there is anyway to password protect windows 95 or 98 like 2000 or XP. From what I remember there isn't. If someone knows for sure, I'd appreciate the confirmation, Thanks guys! |

| U can use syskey to lock out the computer from at keyboard users but 95 and 98 are so unsecure its not funny i would recommend that u upgrade to xp pro or 2000 if you need security xp has a roll back feature that lets you use the gui like it was 98 (Graphical User Interface)( windows ) so it is like you are still using 98 only it is xp and a heck of alot more secure sp2 locked up a bunch of holes in xp Last edited by I Am A+ Cert : 04-02-2005 at 04:46 PM. |
