| Windows ME Splash Screen OK... I know that with the accumulated knowledge of many in this group..that there is an answer to this: When one boots up into Windows ME...after all the bios info...there is a WinME boot splash screen...the white one with WinME logo...copywrite Microsoft...etc... In the Windows directory...there is a file...logo.sys...but it is the windows shutdown screen. Where is the bootup splash imbedded...does anyone know? My logo screen has become somewhat corrupt and I need to restore it if I can find it. Thanks Bob |

| Hi there, try checking Msdos.sys in the root of your boot drive. If the line LOGO=0 is present, remove it. This should restore your splash screen. Note: to prevent virus infection please make the file read only when done. Hope this helps ! =) |
