| FEDEX is the worst darn package shipper in the United States As the subject says, FEDEX is the worst friggin package shipper in the United States. Their tracking system showed as of this morning that my replacement X1800 Crossfire card would be delivered at around 3PM. Guess what those jerks did, they go and and try delivering it at 12:45 PM, and what do I wind up with, nothing. They then took it back to their facility at the airport where I live. Needless to say, as of Thursday morning if I don't have it by then, I'll be filing theft charges against the company, and pushing to have their license to do business in the state where I live revoked. There is no danged excuse for what they did. Right now with the way things are, I got screwed out of a $600.00 videocard thanks to FEDEX. I'm totally disgusted with FEDEX. I honestly ask, and no offense against anyone here how much hell do I have to go through with FEDEX as a company. I don't have this kind of a problem with UPS.

| Bummer I placed an order at Newegg on Sunday afternoon. The Fedex website said to expect delivery Thurs 7/13 around 4:30pm. The Fedex delivery guy came yesterday (7/11) and had my stuff! ![]() This same driver has in the past left his cell number on our voicemail because we werent home when he came by. I called his cell and he came back with my delivery. He's done that for me twice. So I would have to say that Fedex ROCKS! ![]() ![]()

| I believe when they say 3PM, that's the latest time they are suppose to show up. Mine always says that, and they usually deliver around 12pm and if I'm not there I just go down to the FedEx station and pick it up after work. They never give an exact time of delivery, that would be impossible. Although after many shipments with the same delivery driver you can get a good time frame of when they will be there. Like I said mine is usually between 12-1. If its not there by then, I know its a substitute driver. Yesterday I had two packages shipped second day air. One from Zipzoomfly(DDR2 memory) and the other one from Monarch(ASUS M2N32-SLI). They attempted delivery at 12 something but no one was home. They left the Zipzoomfly package because no signature was required but took the package from Monarch back to the station because they have all over their box, no signature/no delivery. So I called FedEx and told them to hold it and I picked it up this morning. Depends on the driver!

| UPS isn't this much trouble, they deliver at 5:30PM that way there is a garantee that somebody is home, and if no one is home, they leave the package under the deck out of sight. I've had trouble in the past with FEDEX.

2 of the drivers were very particular about me placing packages where they go in the truck and actually enjoyed what they did. The other driver was always angry, no matter what day it was. Could care less if packages were delivered or not. Lets just say her handling of packages wasn't that nice. Horrible attitude for the job she had. Some people just shouldn't work in customer service period.

| These fugging idiots where I live didn't even bother making a second attempt to deliver the package later in the day when somebody was home, they just put it back on the truck and took it back to their facility at the airport. This is uncalled for.

| A couple of times I got home like not even 5 minutes after they left the door tag. I called FEDEX to see if the driver would come back. Both times they said they would send the driver a note to do a second trip but he never did. The only time I get 2 delivery attempts in the same day is around XMAS.

I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just trying to put things in perspective. I have had UPS/FedEx/DHL screw up on me before and it can be very upseting, but it happens. At one of the hospitals that I work at DHL lost an organ (for a transplant) ... try beating that! I do have a suggestion for you to avoid this type of thing. Find out if there is a mail boxes etc or UPS store or other shipping place in your neighborhood. Generally, they will accept packages for a small fee (approximately $2-5 /pkg) and then you never have to worry about missing the delivery guy. | |

| Never had much problem with UPS or Fed Ex. Like Fed Ex handling of packages with more care. So signed a form with Fed Ex to authorize delivery if I am not home. Do not remember every circumstance that it covers but has worked well. Thanks Izibo for the tip on getting delivery's made at Mailboxes etc. or UPS. That will come in very handy when away from home. ![]() |

| I think he just needed to vent. Like you said, I've had delivery service screw up on me too and I was upset. Once you get your package though, its amazing how a piece of hardware can calm you down.
