I just turned the sigs off to see the difference and it really loads much much faster. I never thought of it before ozzie mentioned it. I guess I'll leave it that way, but I hate to.....I like the new folding sigs. :sad:

Even with broadband (cable), the load time is noticeably faster with sigs turned off.

I don't like having to turn off sigs (like I've done at other sites) - so I hope we can just set some reasonable limit to sig length instead. I have noticed a few people have huge ones lately - we don't need everyone's life story :eek: !!!

SLM, png is just a graphics format . Nothing fancy about that...


I have had sigs turned off for over a year. It seemed so much easier than convincing everyone that they should learn to limit themselves, hehe.

I do have my eye on traveler, though. It seems he likes to paste a signature-like standard ending into his posts and this of course can't be disabled... *grumble*
