| Abxzone Podcast? I've been wanting to start a podcast for some time now after I began to listen to different podcasts like poweruser.tv, this week in tech, and many others. I don't want to do a solo podcast, and this site keeps up with technology news all the time, with people commenting on it. Therefore, I think we'de be great for a podcast, and it would also get the site more well known. A group of knowledgable people like "this week in tech" are always fun to listen to, and think about. Therefore, if anyones interested to form an Abxzone podcast, you can post in this thread or leave me a pm. BTW, admins, if some people become interested, and this gets on it's feet, do we have premission to make it belong to Abxzone?

| If you would like to explore the possibilites I think it could be interesting. We would like ABX to remain open to new ideas - lets see how the members react to it. Even if it doesn't work out - thank you for thinking of something fun and the betterment of ABX!

In the podcast: 1 guy says : "Yes, and a rumor has been going around that apple may be switching to Windows and may become a dell-like competitors" I say : "That is completely impossible, Apple for one would lose one of their main grounds of being different by switching to Windows, even though they are mainly a hardware company. Ozzie says : "No, I believe that because most of their profit comes from hardware, it could be a wise decision to switch to an universal OS, espically if Microsoft and Apple worked together developing Vista or whatever next OS to be amazing." Just an example, but it's really fun to listen to different peoples opinions.

| Well IMHO this is a brilliant idea I'm sure we have some people on this board who would like to put voice to their thoughts and ideas Why didn't I think of this? All it would need would be a telephone linkup once a week to start with. Half hour program would be fine. No doubt it would snowball but there are always people who love to hear the sound of their own voice so I'm sure we could meet demand. Heck, we could even podcast select threads, just have someone reading them which would tie it back to the forum very nicely. I can see other possibilities too. JaGWiRE, I'm impressed, maybe it takes a younger person with presumably less clutter in their life to see the way forward! I can see this kind of thing really taking off in other forums too. Well looks like the time is now right for me to finally pick up an iPod !

BTW, regardless of what people say, the new iPods are great. I had an exscuse and oppertunity to get one, and I was opting for irivers and other players, but this thing is awesome. I had an older one which broke on me which couldn't even compare to the 5th generation.
