Active Threads - Nick Info bug

Ever since ABXZone came back online, The "Active Threads" on the main page won't allow you to see other people's info when applying for it. Instead you get the following error...

This user has not registered and therefore does not have a profile to view.

Interestingly, it only applies to the "Active Threads From The Forums (Last Poster and Time)" section. The "Active Off-Topic Threads" section works just fine.

That has been the case since the upgrade to vbPortal 3.0.2 a month or so ago. It's one of several bugs we haven't really looked at to try and solve them. The thing is, vbPortal is a dog. We're working on rolling out an alternative portal instead, with a much nicer system. So we've decided to focus on that instead of trying to fix vbPortal.

The solution is to open the thread and then check out the profile.

The cause is that the URL is truncated like this:

http://www.abxzone.com/forums/member...info&username=

Which means you're asking vB for the info on the a user with an empty username, and such a user doesn't exist.
