annoying ABX ad- Part II

I noticed over the last few days that there is a new annoying pop up flash ad that pops up frequently when visiting ABX...the ad is for Verizon and appears in the middle of the screen for a few seconds...here is a screen shot...

Whoa, that page looks like a xmas tree! Look at those side panels and ads for Crucial and OCZ as well! I run IE without any activeX, or Java, I block pop-ups and banners and I've switched of ABX side panels and I forget how other people see the site sometimes.

That pop-up certainly looks annoying. I think the site should be getting as much sponsorship as possible, but those things can really detract from the whole experience and may actually turn people away.

CJ always disallows pop-up ads for the advertising services ABX connects to, IIRC. Sometimes one sneaks past the block, though. I'm sure CJ will be on this ASAP. I'll PM him and alert him to this threads existence.

I'll look into it, but is anyone else seeing this here in order confirm the UPU (Unidentified Pop Up) sighting?

It's probably all gone by this time. CJ reviewed this thread about an hour ago, and he likely had the ad pulled. So, I doubt anyone will see it now.

I don't see it with either IE5.5 or FF. Glad too, it looks irritating.
