If CJ's server can handle the additional space I say yes! Only because some graphics just don't look as good and the text is hard to read at the smaller sizes...

But I'm not dis-sastified with the current 60X60 either...

Number of Extremely Active Members: 200+ At the Most ....
100x100 Avatar Size = 100KB
200x100KB = 20000KB = 2MB ....

This could work out fine ....

Well I'm not against a bigger sized avatar. If the space is not a problem then it would be nice to have...

but for the modem members:

20 posts per page
if 10 members post on that page
100KB avatar X 10 = 1MB
56K modem D/L 1MB = 1 min?

but then again, over 50% now on broadband?

it's a hard call...

Yes, bigger, but 100(2)?

Too big IMO, I would be happy with 80(2). With a slight increase in size.

I just don't like avatars that are as big as a small web page. They draw attention away from the content within the page. That's really my only concern.

I am not worried about bandwidth..(on my side) 6mb/768

I'm fine with 60x60...Either way, I could care less, but I've seen large Avatars on other forums get out of hand.

60x60 is so 1990's

go with 70 or 80 higher is just Xtreme esp when users go with smaller sizes makes the look of the site odd and choppy

I vote to leave it as is.....it would hurt modem users. Yes, they can turn it off, but if I were a modem user I would still like it to quickly recognize my budZ.

Plus....screen space is already premium....it would make even more pics and stuff wrap the screen. Yuck!
