I agree with Sammy.

We should remove all OT threads from the front page and have only TECH threads.

The AMD64 news threads posted by Sierra have been exciting to read!

Tech posts are going down !?!

Must be because members like Monkey Hanger, who used to post there, are no longer here.

As a few have said, if you don't want the OT threads on the front page, then request a control panel option to not show them so that those who want them are not offended and leave and the tech posts go down even more.

I thought I would check out the front page just now to see what the fuss is about (dont usually go there) and couldn't load it, it just hung! Some activeX control wanted to run which my firewall is set to block and then there was some cookie for "burstnet.com" (whoever they are) that my browser blocked.

Try FireFox as your browser. It's the best browser there is these days. It uses no ActiveX. I block all cookies that don't relate to this site.

well ... i think we should remove the post count completely .... wouldnt make a difference if it were to go ...

say you become a member for 30 days ... you get your avatar ....

as far as OT goes .... we should remove it from the front page .... so as to give abx a techier feel .....

i think sierra and his a64 threads are the most active ones these days ... i hardly ever see any Intel threads now .....

Nice to see you pry yourself away from HL2 for a few seconds to chat with us sammy!

If we flicked OT or the counting from the OT section it would just cause many members to get overly chatty in tech... and we certainly don't want that
