Could be that you had an ancient email address for me. I've been around since the mid-90's.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I do appreciate it.

1. I fixed your name

2. This was the email:

Dear $user,

CJ has sold ABXzone.com in order to spend more time on his family, as well as his
business ventures. He was very selective in reviewing potential buyers because he
wanted to make sure that the new owner would help take these forums to the next
level. Hopefully we won't let you down.

Like CJ, my team and I work full-time and forums are just our passion. That said,
we have been successful in maintaining positive cash-flow without resorting to
advertising yet. We have done this through user transactions on our main forum
www.genmay.com

ABXzone.com is part of the CrowdGather network of forums which includes:

genmay
spiceforums
bigscreentalk
lovethatsound
therockforum
eternal-allegiance

and now.... ABXzone.com

Your user name and password entitles you to automatic posting privileges on all of
these forums. In the event that you have a user name that is a duplicate on the
network, you will receive a notification with instructions when you next log on to
ABXzone.com

The network forums are entirely optional, you can visit if you like- or you can just
stay here.

There are no sweeping changes that I can think of making at this point- just a focus
on building traffic and membership.

Finally, those of you who are in Southern California (or willing to be here) this
Friday and Saturday- we are having our annual Crowd Gather get together (free to
you). Look for the relevant threads on genmay.com made by me for details- or send
me a PM here.

PM's are the best way to reach myself, or Matty who is also part of the new team.

Have a great summer and please help me get this place going again!

Sanjay

Oh god...people fear change. This is going to be interesting. Personally I embrace change. I just took a cruise and it was great getting to sit and have dinner with six different total strangers every night. Bring it on. New people to meet.

I really think what Sanjay is doing is pretty cool.. just check out all the sites that are networked now, and you can really see that it will bring a lot of people together that once only stayed glued to one type of topic on a message board. Genmay is a place where you can discuss pretty much everything and anything (with a little bit of.. should I call it.. fun?) lol so all you guys that have only been members here, definately check out all the other sections
