I kicked in my $25 last month... Christmas spirit and all. I'm suprised at the low level of participation too. I get more use and enjoyment out of AsusBoards.com than just about anywhere else out on the 'net: my contribution is one of the best investments I can think of. Hey, it was less than 5% of what I paid for this semesters College tuition!

Look at it this way. For just 1 week don't spend any of the coins you get in change when you buy stuff. Not the paper money, just the coins. Put it in a jar instead, and at the end of the week contribute it to AsusBoards.com. I bet most of you'll have at least $5.00 to kick in, and it's painless. It's just "spare change", after all.

Let's see.... 5% of a semesters tuition that would be about $450. I don't know about that. Maybe I'll just collect my loose change. What do you think it costs to ship 30 pounds of pennies across the country?

Edit: Just fixing my typos

Hey protoplasm-

Where do you go to school at? $9000/semester seems like a lot!

I go to Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo in CA and its only $725/quarter.

I go to the Illinois Institute of Technology. I considered going to Northwestern which is $25000/year though. Fortunately I get a lot of scholarships and loans so I don't actually have to pay that much.

Premium Member is the rank between Member (30 posts) and AsusBoards Expert (200 posts). The requirement is 100 posts IIRC.
