Email notification not work for me - Page 2

I cleared cookies and switched back to my origional e-mail. Still doesn't work. I may try to change to back to the e-mail acct I used earlier that worked. Any way Abxzone might have "blocked" an email acct somehow?

I actually recall CJ once talking about something to counter bounced email notifications. It's quite possible that a bounced notification would lead to a cancellation of the subscription. Even if the email address is valid there might still be a chance that the email server somehow was unreachable (depends on its stability, I guess) at the time of the notification.

I changed to a new email account, and now I do get notification to this email. So, somehow abxzone, after the site went down a couple weeks ago, doesn't like my email address. I hope this could get fixed, because I would prefer the emails go to the address that doesnt work now, and not to the new address.

Chances are, this is due to your ISP being stupid. Back in 1998 (IIRC) the IP's of this server were used for spamming, resulting in the IP range being added to spam lists.

Many ISPs who do not know better still use this old list. It was working on the newer servers because they had clean IP's. This problem should clear up once I move ABX back to the newer server on the clean IP's.
