HotBar (Smileys) as a sponsor?

I may be wrong here, but I'm sure I saw a banner sponsor of the infamous "Hotbar" for the smileys. I'm sorry to say that if that is the case, I'm disappointed in ABXzone for allowing such a malicious program to be allowed on this website.

If i'm wrong, I apologize, but....I spent a bit of time removing that crap from the wife's pc and her sisters. This 'Hotbar' is a know spyware and will track your passwords and flood your registry.

Tell me it ain't so

Well, I checked on these cursors and I haven't found anything. I was wrong. I guess those adds that show up like that bother me because of "Hotbar" and what its done to a couple of pc's.

CJ can correct me if I'm mistaken, but I don't think we can choose the advertisers. The ad company just serves the ads and we have no say in who gets to advertise.

The only thing that we do decide is the level of intrusiveness the banner has and I believe CJ has chosen the lowest (e.g. no pop-ups etc.).
