Arrow "Ignore thread" button

I use the 'View new posts' link to scan over the newly made threads and posts here.

There's some threads here, more than I'd like to see, hanging around for no good reason at all, and I'd like to banish them from appearing in my 'view new posts' query, in essence I'd like a 'ignore thread' button to accomplish this (sort of like a reverse 'subscribe to thread' button.)

Not a bad idea. This is why currently I don't "View New Posts"

Could be a handy feature.... I guess when it's not in the upcoming vbulletin 3 release there will be a 'hack' for it...

An alternative suggestion could be an advanced view new posts screen where you can select forums to be searched for new posts - either one at a time or multiple selection. If it's really smart it could even remember your last selection of forums and optionally use that to replace the simple view new posts search...

Hmm, I think too much .

Great Idea!

A good way for me to quit annoying those who don't like my (plethora of) OT posts!

I can't contest the truth of that post, but I fail to see how it applies to this thread?

Cogar may have thought that I was subscribing to threads and didn't know how to stop getting email notifications about them, perhaps.

So, how does that differ from my other posts?
