I'd like to see a sub-forum on small form factor (SFF) computing. For a while it seemed like no fan was too loud, no case too big. Computing was getting obnoxious with blue LED everything. Now, more than ever I think, is the growing trend of computing that doesn't clash with everything else, and that included small form factor and slimline designs.
thanks for the suggestion- I agree that SFF and even HTPC are relevant categories that need somewhere to go...

Many tech savvy members left a few years ago when OT threads were dominating the front page. Then the rep point fiasco caused more to leave or be banned. Then the over modding by a few that are no longer with us.

Lets try and not repeat the errors of the past please

I just noticed that my Review Team title has been removed ...

I was told to hold off until further notice after the last blowup ...
I guess I'm on notice then.

Glad to see the news team is still kicking.

Got a crow bar then? A size 15 is hard to pry out ones mouth otherwise.

Anyways, I have changed the title back.

I would appreciate some help as opposed to just constant sarcasm. As I mentioned, I changed the name of the 'Open Chat' forum and moved some subforums around. I did not move a bunch of threads around from one forum to another, nor did I consciously 'merge' any forums together.

Can you tell me the name of the subforum you are accusing me of merging so I can go back to the zipped version of the forum I bought from CJ?

Smile

Maybe I read that wrong, but it sounded like Gorganzola stuck his foot in his own mouth, and was asking for some help in removing it. A sort of half-hearted apology. I don't know...

I came to this forum awhile back when I was looking to build a new system for myself, based on the Asus P4P800 deluxe. I am not a techy by any means, but I do enjoy learning about pc's, etc. Of all the forums I had visited, this one was the most welcoming and friendly, and provided me with all the answers I sought. It truly was more than just computers, but building friendships as well.

I probably have missed some threads here, but it just seems that there is a lot of hostility directed towards sanjay and I don't know why. I guess everyone has their own reasons. I just wish ABX doesn't become a place to rant and flame like so many other forums. It should be about welcoming new members, working together, and building friendships as well as technology discussions. That is the reason I came to this place. If I offended anyone by my comments, I am sorry. I didn't mean to.

I made an assumption based on a faulty memory. The end result was my post.

I actually have two feet that are size 15. The comment was an attempt for me to applogize for what I said. The classic case of "assuming".

We may have lost that when they had to disable the ability to delete posts.
