There was a time limit to edit before a line was added saying that the post was edited but you could go back anytime after to edit.

In fact I just added this line using the edit button.

I vaguely recall seeing this before. You are allowed to edit your posts for a day or two and after that the edit button vanishes. I can't recall if this was fixed or not.

I had to take down edit and delete because the protesting members were hacking away at threads and posts...
