Managing Attachments?

I can't seem to get the attachments feature to work when posting messages. Do you need special permission or something? Will a note from my mom help?

What do you mean, "can't seem to get the attachments feature to work"?

Does it give you an error? Please explain?

after you browse to pick your file, you must click "upload" and wait a few seconds to see that it's complete. Then click the submit button.

note: you will not see your attachment in Preview Post.

Also, look in the text there. Attachments only allow certain file types (by extension), so make sure it is one of the allowed file types.

BTW....get the note from your mom, just to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the replies...I should have been more detailed in my problem...I click the "manage attachments" box and nothing happens. This is happened to me (or not happened to me) every time I've tried to use it. I tried it just now on this post...I clicked the little box and nothing happens. No error messages, no dialog boxes, nothing. Am using Firefox 1.0 preview release. Maybe that's the issue? Thanks.

Ok, to manage attachments, you need to post attachments... If you haven't posted an attachment, then you can't manage one.

But you post an attachment by using the "manage attachments" button.

Didn't help. I just downloaded the 1.0 of FF and that didn't help either. I don't have this problem on other websites that use similar boxes that you click on. Just this one. Maybe I'll fire up IE and try it in there.

Well, it works ok in IE. So, I guess it's a FF issue. Anyone else using FF anf having this problem?

Well, all of a sudden the managing attachments feature is working in FF. Don't know what I did or didn't do.
