If someone returns the "favour" of a negative vote by disapproving of a good post then PM a mod about. If it's clear that it's pure retribution then we can talk to the member about it.

The last thing a member like that would want is getting another X negative points through the mystical and divine powers of a mod, right? This remark should be enough to keep most from voting negatively just to get even.

These mystical powers allow us to fix abuse situations, but in general it would probably have to be severe before we step in. Consider that time will even out these fluctuations in the long run and being just about equal to all members and therefore preserving the natural order of reputations .

Bottomline, if you generally post good posts then you will generally have a good reputation.
