Question opening attached pics

When I click on an attached pic, it use to open in a new window. Now it doesn't.

If I'm in a thread - say starting at post #50, scroll down to #75 and open a pic, when I hit the back button to resume looking at the thread, it brings me back to #50 again.

Can we change it back to opening in a new window?

So i am not the only one.

Accidently closed some threads when i closed the window with the pic in it as i was used to.

Is it meant to be so now? Can i choose which way it opens? (Without "right-click"-"search-for-right-option-according-to-browser"-"click"-"click on right tab or window" etc...)

Please.

Greetings

Dru

I noticed a change when the forum software was upgraded...I wonder if there is a setting for this?

That's what I suspected...I think it probably happened right after CJ mentioned doing that minor upgrade a week or two ago.

I have no problems with the test pic, CJ, using FF. It opens in a new tab either using a single left click, right click/open in new tab, or just dragging it using the Super Drag 'N Go extension.

Edit: Just saw your "fixed" post.
