I vaguely remember being a catalyst for having them removed.

to be honest, i have noticed this place has become a lot more active since the big change in theme. Maybe its just me, but now there are 50ish posts when i return after a few hours where there were only about 2 before!

Could also be due in part to the end of the summer. People are back to wasting away in front of their monitors...
