Regarding This Morning

Fellow ABX Members,

This morning we all experienced what can happen when our feelings about the history of this site get carried a bit too far.

For that reason, I feel it necessary to let each of you know that flaming of members past, present and future will not be tolerated including the HD forums. No! I’m not talking about public figures in the news; I’m talking about your fellow members and/or former members of this site.

This is not threat just a fact that we must deal with accordingly. If you have an issue with another member please take it up with that member via PM, email, or other outside channels. If these attempts prove ineffective then contact a Moderator or an Administrator we’ll do our best to intervene and help you solve an issue.

Also remember that if you write something that is demeaning or personally slanted about another individual it can have possible legal ramifications not only for ABXZone, but for you as well. If you want to see this site remain open and prosper please help us so that issues of this type never again have to be addressed.

Thanks,
CJ

Also, I want to thank everyone who had kind and encouraging words to say to me this morning. It was appreciated, and helps offset the negativity that it truly fustrates me to see from others.

Thanks!

CJ, of course I am not a lawyer, but it sounds like a frivolous attempt at extortion and scare tactics.. Pretty LAME IMO...

Thanks so much CJ. Try not to let the bastards get you down. They are the very small minority around here. Let's pull together and not let them ruin it for the rest of us.

Thanks CJ, glad to see everything up and running again, and like you said if you have a problem with someone then use the PM to do it, this site is to good of a resource to let personal feelings destroy it for the other 30000 members...just my feelings

I think the responsibility of all of us mods or not to support the efforts on going on this forum. Meaning that the tone and demeanor
of all of us shapes the way people see us. That include posts. Not all of us are as smart as some others but we can all learn from each others experiences. That can be done without resorting to snide remarkes inuendos or personal attacks. It's been a while but I think those are the things best left back in the sandbox when we were all a little younger and less in control.

I am happy and gald to see the forum back. It has become apart of my life and I would sorely miss it if it were gone.

Fun and friendship is about sharing I hope this will continue for ever. Or at least as long as we all shall live.

Thanks CJ for bringing the site back up. There are folks out there whose main purpose for existence is to belittle and destroy. They'll never go away. Hang in there! :wave2:

Respect - the word has just seven letters but it means so much.
Thanks CJ for standing up for what you believe in.

The drama! Truly interesting times. I always believed I would actually be the one to explode the forums, haw.

I should've snapped up the domain name from CJ when I had a chance this morning - then I'd be the new overlord! Bwahaha!
