OK, it happens again to me and it kinda bugs me, because the new posts will not show up as a new post anymore (because technically it has been posted hours ago) for the regular users and will go unnoticed.
Can that be changed?

I don't think so. The way posts are marked read is by use of timestamps and if we changed the timestamp on posts when approved then they would be inserted in a different order in the thread...

I posted a thread in the Classifieds Zone two days ago and it's still not there.

My current post took 3 or 4 days to show up. Then I responded to a question a couple days ago and it's still not up there. Are we supposed to pm a mod? And who are all the mods? I'd rather just have a mod remove my post in the classified forum. I'll wait till the bugs are worked out.
