I personally feel having the animation is way cool...also having the same size just plain looks better than different sizes all over in a thread.
I'm a member at other forums that don't allow animation at all.

The overall size of the file probably has more to do with things than the current pixel limitation.

I think this is the only forum that I still frequent that even uses avatars. I think there is nothing wrong with the current size.

I'm pretty sure that i really don't care.

If there where no or smaller avatars i wont mind. I'd try to adapt my avatar to fit the new size (smaller, bigger, none at all). That's it.
I may loose one possiblity to express myself to other members, but i may find other ways.

Greetings

Dru

I feel that is the avatar is hosted off site that it should be at a size that allows for the maximum wow. But still limited to an overall size ie, width and length. I have created many a different avatars in the past and they were rejected for being too large in pixel count. Even the ones that met the L x W requirements. So, I am for larger.

Hi Dem

Yeah, I've had a one I wanted to use that fit the dimensions, but the files size was too large. I wouldn't be up for much of a change in rectangular size, but larger allowable file sizes might be nice.

Big avatars don't look professional, which ABX has always been good at.

It isn't the size as in L x W (or 100 x 100) But the overall size of the pixels. Such as a size of 100 x 100 with an total size image(s) being 612kb. Hope that helps.

I know some 56k users who would instantly switch to some broadband w-lan if only their neighbours wouldn't use WPA, Mac-Address-filters, hidden ESSID etc. etc.

Greetings

OK but the most voters agree for bigger avatars.
Anyway the poll is in progress!
