Yes I agree, the main point is that for people that want it off, it should stay off...there should be a way of having it remember your preferences....rather then having to manually turn it off each visit to the site

Is it just me or does it show everyone offline on the buddy list when you are viewing a thread?

the "New Posts" button is still there...just not on the ABX front page anymore...but if you click on "Forums" or are anywhere in the forums itself then the "New Posts" button is back front and center (or slightly off center )

I tested it while viewing this thread and I have two online buddies showing online correctly on the buddy list of the side bar. Maybe it's just a coincidence that everyone was offline when you looked?

I don't think so beacsue on the main page, it says who's online. And when I click on a thread, the people that were listed on the main page are suddenly all offline. Maybe you mods get special treatment j/k :P

i can take a screen shot of both the main page and a thread if you would like.
