Actually, you may not be as wrong as you think. The whole system has different stuff depending on your status and maybe there's a bug in the one for registered users while the ones for mods and admins are OK.

Maybe you can start up a test account (if you don't already have one) and see if you can duplicate the problem. Just a suggestion

The front page seems to have a feel like the old version now that CJ changed it about a week ago.
