15.4GB made up of what?

I noticed today that my hard drive was getting pretty full - the bar signifying the space was red,
so I uninstalled a few things I didn't use anymore to free up some space. I also did the Disc Cleanup, which got rid of about 2GB.
That left me with 24.6GB of free space, out of 138GB, and the bar turning blue.
But I was wondering why it was so full in the first place...I didn't think I had THAT much stuff on there...
So I opened The Vista ( C: ) folder, and calculated how much space the folders within it were taking up.
~QTWTMP.TMP - 16KB
Applications - 5.68GB
d_ejay2 - 220MB
DVDVideoSoft - 495MB
eJay - 2.73GB
Intel - 252KB
PerfLogs - 0
Program Files - 6.84GB
ProgramData - 197MB
temp - 8KB
Users - 68GB
videooutput - 3.13MB
Windows - 14GB

and these files:
BOOTSECT.BAK = 8KB
PA7311.DAT = 226KB

Which, unless my maths has gone horribly wrong, means there is approximately 98GB of space being used.
This means that there is 15.4GB of nothing, taking up space on the hard drive.
Where is this coming from, and how do I get rid of it?
Thanks in advance, oh and Happy New Year too

Have you emptied your recycle bin recently? Things just sitting in this bin will still take up space until they are deleted.
