| Default web browser I have a small yet annoying problem: I had Firefox (2.0.0.12) set as default browser, yet since installing SP1 this appears to have switched back to IE. I say "seems to" because while IE tells me that it is not default browser, so does Firefox and any external application that uses the internet starts IE instead of Firefox. Switching on "always check to see if Firefox is the default browser" doesn't work either as it asks me every single time if I would like to set Firefox as default browser. Any ideas what might cause this? |

| I have had some trouble with the same sort of issue. I finally fiddled with the default program settings enough to get FF set as the default. I'd say just keep beating on Vista until it waves the white flag. Persistence, I think, is the answer here. Emphasize use of the Custom option in Default Programs to get FF working properly.

| Hmmm, yeah, I tried the default program settings, but while I can change the default email program or IM program I don't seem to have that option for browser. I will try again this evening. |

| Yes, give it a shot. The option is there. Use the bottom link when you get into Default Programs.
