| download problem hi, I have a website (www.sonicrampage.org) where I've posted various dj mixes I've done in mp3 format. I've had a few complaints from Vista users that they can't download the files. I use XP, so am unfamiliar with Vista, so I thought that maybe the users of this forum could help! Here's an example page. The link to the mp3 is in the title, which is below the cover. Apparently, according to one user, "when i right click on the link, instead of giving me the option 'save as' it only gives me the option 'save link as' which then just saves the link as a document type file on my desktop". How can I help him (and other Vista users) to download the file? Would I need to change anything at my end or is it purely a matter for Vista users (in which case I will put an advisory notice up)? Many thanks for any help that any of you can give me! |

| That's strange... I can save it fine here. I use Vista Home Premium. I think it would be easier to apologise to the guy and simply get him to change the file type? If he changes the extension to the original it should work as usual! crabby |
