Shadow File Hidden By UAC

I have a short-cut .lnk (Target type: Application, Target location:, Target: INTERACT PLAY VR, Start in: C:\Dream\ipvr) pointing to folder

I manually delete the entire Folder c:\Dreams, with show hidden folders and file options turned on.

However, when I double click the short-cut .lnk, it still execute an executable file. However, my c:\Dream folder is deleted manually.

So, may I know where this application exe hidden into?

My UAC is turned on.

Thanks!

Cheok

p/s Unlike some short cut, the normal short cut does specific the full executable file path is Target. For example, Target: "C:\Program Files\Qianhong\Qianhong.exe"

Does the file still exits when going to Add and Remove Programs? Did you try removing it through the uninstall option? You may have to edit your registry, delete any key that pertains to this program and then remove any folder or files.
