| Vista drops connection when scanning This is very odd, I have a vista business laptop that is networked to a HP officejet 6500. This thing was working fine until a few days ago; I did not do any updates or install anything. I can scan up to 3 pages fine with no issues, but anything over that amount, and the connection is lost. Today what I will do is connect the printer via usb and see what happens. I sense that the issue is the network discovery service. I scan thru Adobe Acrobat to create pdf files. The scanned document will show up fine in Adobe if scanning 3 pages or less, any more than that nothing shows up in Adobe, and it locks up. I thought the issue might be Adobe, so I removed, and then reinstalled, no joy. Now that I think of it, I wonder if the issue could be the twain driver. |
