| Vista SP2 update problem After update with SP2 , computer mouse & keyboard are problematic. Programs slowly develop non opening after one use ,All drivers up to date, virus $ spyware scanned , programs all updated & defraged computer first.Shut down all virus & spyware first Since returned to previous state via Accronis after two attemts to update. Also after second install it needed repeated restarts to even get to the above state. | Is it possible for you to install Vista from scratch? Download the standalone of SP2 (and SP1 if not part of the DVD), install Vista using Custom Install, apply all updates including SP2 and see how it works. If you don't experience any issues, then it's a software issue. If you experience the same issues as before, then most probably is a hardware problem.
