Question Windows Mail: "Address not Valid" when opening hyperlinks

Hi All,
In Windows Mail, when I copy a mail that I have saved and paste it into a new E-mail, when they recipient tries to open the web link in the E-mail I sent them, they get "Address not Valid".

When I look at the actual Sent Item, I see an "mhtml:{" with a bunch of characters appended to the front of the actual hyperlink.

Is there a good workaround to stop this from happening?

Regards,
Rob

Just 'attach' the email by dragging it into the text area. At the moment, all you are doing is adding a link to it.

Thanks - but is there a way to make the problem go away without doing that? - Like a setting?

So... you have an email saved as a file on your computer... you right click and go to copy and then you go to the email you are composing, you right click and go to paste?

I send the mail to myself, and save it in my "Form Mails" folder in Windows Mail - did this a while back and the links are fine in that mail.

Whenever I have 4 or 5 people I need to send it to, I copy the contents of the mail and create a new mail for all 5 people....that is when this issue is happening

I'm curious, why not just forward the email? It's just as easy and can be sent to as many users as you like. I don't use Windows Mail, but it appears that the issue has to do either with a security setting or the email containing access to numerous external links to graphics or other links. When you copy the link, it loses track of other attached links, leading to the "Address not valid" message.

I really don't know what these 'links' are for any more. If they are files... attach them. If they are links to somewhere on your computer... attach what it's linked to. If they are emails for a website, right click the link and go to hyperlink and check the address is correct.

But I agree with Felix,if you just forwarded the email there shouldn't be an issue. If there is stuff in the email you don't want them to see you can just delete it before sending.

Well, I save a copy in drafts....
and it's easier to select it. copy, and paste

Why the heck is that damn mhtml junk appended to the front og the hyperlinks - that is the main question

Lightbulb 1 licenced WotLK for 2 PC

Before I go further I'm going to nip any thoughts of software piracy in the bud: this question involves 100% purchased licensed copies of all software involved. Here's what I'm not sure about - I have 2 separate copies of WoW and TBC (each on separate accounts as well), and each is installed on a different PC. Before I go buy WotLK do I need to buy 2 copies in order to install on each computer or will one work for both? In other words, will one copy of WotLK upgrade 2 different accounts?world of warcraft gold-world of warcraft gold-world of warcraft gold
