| Windows mail I have upgraded from windows mail to outlook 2007, how do I move the folders and folder content to outlook 2007? I initially set up with microsoft mail and I have set outlook 2007 as my default but when I connect to old microsoft mail it receives all my e-mails, do i need to disable microsoft mail? In internet explorer i have a button on the tool bar that is supposed to open my default e-mail program, the problem is that it only does it sometimes and I don't know why it works when it does? I'm hoping someone can help me with these things. This looks like a cool place for me to tweak my new toy. Peetey!!! |

| In windows mail you should be able to go to 'File' then 'Export' and just transfer your messages as per this page: How to export e-mail messages from Windows Mail & Outlook Express into Outlook. To stop your microsoft mail from retrieving the emails you can do one of two things... Remove the email account. Or make the email account keep a copy on the exchange. If you do the second one you can then retrieve the email from multiple computers/programs etc... but they all nee dto be set up the same to stop one of them from retrieving the lot. Let me know which you would like to do For your third problem... I don't really know why that would be. Check 'Default Programs' in 'Control panel' is showing the correct program. Are there specific sites where it doesn't work? crabby |

| Webmail is any email application that you can use to read and write e-mail using your web browser, e.g hotmail, gmail, yahoo mail, etc.
