| WMP11 IN VISTA - Back to default settings? I am not able to connect on one of our two VIsta boxes to TNT Dramavision. Thinking it must be an error in the WMP DRM? Help? Thanks! |

| Can you be more specific? What version of Vista are you running? How are you trying to connect? (I believe TNT Dramavision is web-based, correct?) Are you getting error messages in WMP, if so..what do they say? Let me know, thanks.

| Thanks! It is an error in Dramavision, which is web based. I have seen others are getting the error. It is a license acquisition error. Says..."An error occurred during license retrieval. Try again later." This is the site: http://www.tnt.tv/processors/video/DRM/acquire.do Weird thing is that it works on our other Vista box. |

| TNT Dramavision fix I am no computer expert but after spending lots of hours researching this problem I may have found some answers. I still can't believe TNT wouldn't just allow their programing on Hulu and avoid all these problems. It seems dramavision will work with some operating systems and windows media player versions with certain DRM settings, but not all. It has a problem working on firefox, the Video Help topics on the site are of little help, they refer you to Microsoft security component upgrade page that has an upgrade button that is unclickable if you don't have the correct codecs installed. I found that it would work when using the latest version of Internet Explorer. It would automatically detect the components needed and bring up a dialog box to install them which you must tell the system to allow. |
