| external modem error 692 I have an external modem "decloop WLL" and i connected it to serial port of my pc. i add a standard modem 28800 bps driver in win vista, but when i want to connect to internet i give error 692. i dont know whats wrong. i use same procedure in windows xp pro and i successfully connected to the internet without any error. can any one help me? ask me if you need more details. sorry for my bad english!! |

| It's a driver issue. You may want to try it running it under Win XP Compatibility Mode. Right-click the file and select Properties; Click the Compatibility tab and place a checkmark next to the text labeled "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows XP (Service Pack 2). PS: Your English is just fine.
