| Support for Vista x64 firewire needed Microsoft needs to add proper support for Vista x64 firewire support. As it stands now, I cannot digitize my footage to my x64 installation of vista ultimate due to this. It can control the camera but it cannot actually capture the video. I have a Canon XH G1 and a Sony A1U, same results with all. I have Vista x86 installed just for this purpose and this purpose alone but I love 64bit over 32bit any day. How do I get hold of Microsoft to inform them that x64 firewire support is properly needed for Vista?

| It's never going to happen. All you can do is get the fireiwre drivers yourself and install them. crabby |
