| I am having problems between my Vista Wi-Fi Laptop and my video sender I have it connected to the sky down stairs and to a TV up stairs. I have a Netgear DG834G and a Technika video sender. I have been told a may have to change the channel on my router it is currently on channel 11.

| What's the model of the video sender? Also, what signal strength does your laptops wifi have at the same location? Is the signal dropping out? Do you use the wifi and the sender at the same time and are they close to one another? crabby |

| Just has a load of numbers on says AV 104 among other things not sure on signal of laptop how do I find this out? The Wi-Fi is fine it’s the TV video and sounds that are affected. Yes I use them at the same time and they are very close on the same desk. PS: Just noticed the video receiver has for channels on it?

| The two seperate WiFi's could be interfering with each other... see what happens when you move the laptop away. The channels aren't a big deal and 11 is usually the best. I don't use wireless, but I presume you can get the signal strength by hovering over the icon in the taskbar. crabby |

| You can just hover over the wireless icon to get a view of signal strength... I think this is a wireless drop out problem though, which might mean the signal is fine up until the problem actually occurs. :S I don't really know how to fix it and believe it to simply be inherent in wireless technology Incidentally... as they are so close together could a cable be as effective? crabby |
