Hi,
Is it possible to customize the default location of the VSS Storage space for C to be on a differente Drive ?

Is it also possible to move the hiberfil.sys file from it as well ?

Thanks...

Hiberfil.sys can be removed/deleted any time... change the attrib's on it, then take owner and delete... If you decide to use hibernate it will simpl make the file again...

Yes, it refers to Server 2003 and XP and other OS's as well...

Did you try it the suggestion to see if it works? Or did you simply assume that since the post stated Server 2003 it would not work in Vista...

It says to check whether the c Drive has properties for ShadowStorage which he doesn't

The only option that i could modify is the one to which drive to store VSS Data
