How to: Change Windows Vista Icons

How do you do it?
I absolutely LOVE Vista, but I like the Mac OSX Icons.
I would like to change my icons all at once to an icon set.
Is there a way to do this?
Please let's not turn this into a "If you love OSX icons so much, get OSX/Windows fan-boy" thread.
I asked the same question on another forum and they were just mean about it.

Well, if you love OSX... I'm just kidding, we are all friendly on this forum.

What's an icon set?

By the way, I found out what an icon set is; it's more of a theme. That would be a great addition to Vista.

I believe what Dannymichel wants to do is to change all icons to a set of icons that represents a specific theme and that can be done just by selecting the specific set. To me that would really be nice because it allows for better personalization with just one selection. Apparently you can do that with OSX.

I think it'll happen eventually, either by MS or third party. I'd rather have a third party do it, as MS imposes too many restrictions and provides add ons that some don't need or want.

Excellent Ant. I knew some here had some info. It's Vista 32Bit compatible.

As stated, you can do it manually one at a time, or you can ADD A THEME. When you select the THEME it changes all basic icons after a reboot.
My sister changes her icons per the season to be jolly.
Christmas theme
Halloween theme
New Years theme
4th of July
Remember the Alamo
Veterans Day
She has every Holiday Theme going..

Not all of the Themes for XP work in Vista... but she said most of them do.
dog and cats for mouse trails, etc etc etc

What I like about IconPackager is that it changes the icons without replacing the Vista themes. I does take a little bit of room on your hard drive, requires 50MB. You can download a try out version, which includes three sets of icons (see snips)

If you want something to completely customize Vista there is a program called WindowBlinds although it is not free , it works great and can give you a different look.
