Skinning Vista

Is it possible to skin the entire interface for Vista? If not yet, is that something that is going to be possible. I guess it would be like themes and such for previous versions.

I'm not sure. The only thing I've read about it is someone said that we'll need windowblinds to skin it, but I have no idea if that person's word was reliable or not. I'll do some digging and see what I come up with.

I wouldnt want to skin Vista, Ever! i think the Vista UI is fantastic, cant let one small error totaly dismiss a well designed theme.

and it turns out aero isnt just a pritty theme take a look at this..........

"believe it or not, with Windows Aero, and not with the lower-end Windows Vista Standard and Windows Vista Basic user interfaces, assuming you've got a compatible graphics processor (and again, you almost certainly do). That's because Windows Aero offloads a lot of the onscreen rendering and processing requirements from the CPU to the GPU, freeing your system's microprocessor for other tasks. Aero is also inherently more reliable than the software renderers."

I,ll get around to that Josh - I promise, but meanwhile, for any Beta testers who received the RTM gift, MS have just e-mailed this link to me. Its their own Xmas theme. I am just going over now to download it.

Its good but I used it along with Windows Blinds on XP last year. Also the theme is from 2004 and they have not made new ones. Lastly Windows Blinds will install but not work on vista so im looking for some other Windows Blinds type program.
